Firefighters were able to save a homestead near Kalgoorlie this morning after a fire broke out on a pastoral station.
A Fire and Emergency Services Authority spokesman said firefighters were called to a blaze at the Mt Monger Station, 60km east of Kalgoorlie, about 4am.
He said two 20m dongas were on fire but the blaze was brought under control within 20 minutes and the main homestead was save.
Several outbuildings were destroyed.
