A nine-year-old girl hit by a car in Thornlie yesterday was in a critical but stable condition in hospital last night.
Insp. Sharron Leonhardt said the girl had run out onto the road at the intersection of Towncentre and Sugarwood drives in Thornlie about 7.30pm and was hit by a car.
The girl, who lived near the scene of the accident, was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment and placed in an induced coma.
Insp. Leonhardt said the young male driver of the car had been left traumatised.Sponsored links
