Car crashes into wall in Carlisle

Emergency workers are attempting to free a man from his vehicle after he crashed into a wall in Carlisle today.

The incident occurred about 11.15am on the corner of Orrong Road and Mercury Street.

The man was unconscious when emergency services arrived.

St John Ambulance and Fire and Emergency Services are at the scene.

The intersection has been closed to traffic and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
