A 32-year-old East Perth man has been charged with fraud after he allegedly dressed up as a Qantas pilot and knowingly sold two vehicles on which money was owing.
Police claim the man advertised a Porsche four-wheel-drive on a car sales website and sold it for $60,000 on June 17 last year and sold a Ducati motorcycle in September for $20,000. The man allegedly masqueraded as a commercial pilot with Qantas, wearing a full flight officer's uniform, and provided false documents to give himself more credibility.
He has been charged with two counts of fraud and is due to appear in court on February 16.
