Pair charged after Cannington chase
A 21-year-old Queens Park woman and a 24-year-old Maddington man have been charged with a string of offences following a pursuit in Cannington overnight
The pursuit started when police attempted to stop a stolen Mitsubishi Lancer on Albany Highway near Cockram Street just after 10pm.
The car was involved in a hit and run crash on January 21.
After a brief pursuit, officers arrested all four people in the car on Albany Highway.
The woman has been charged with burglary, stealing a motor vehicle, failing to report a traffic accident, dangerous driving and two counts of driving without a licence.
The man has been charged with stealing a motor vehicle, driving without a licence and driving under the influence.
Both are due to appear in Perth Magistrate's Court on February 10.Follow thewest.com.au on Twitter
