Car used to steal ATM from shopping centre

At least one offender was in a car used to smash into a shopping centre to steal money from an ATM.

Kalgoorlie Detectives are investigating the incident, which happened early this morning at Hannans Boulevard Shopping Centre.

The ATM was dragged into the car park, where the offender stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police were called to the centre about 4am.

"Detectives are seeking information regarding a white Toyota Landcruiser tray back ute which

was involved in the incident," police said.

"One male was involved in the incident and he was wearing white overall type clothes. He is

described as being of large build."

The vehicle is described as having distinctive mag wheels, a bonnet scoop, large black bull bar, snorkel, spot lights, aluminium check plate around the inside of the rear tray and a rubber mat.
