Two boys have been arrested after they allegedly pretended to hold-up a number of stores with a toy gun.
Police say a 13-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy went to a fast food store, a supermarket and a chemist before 4pm yesterday.
One of the boys threatened staff with a toy gun and demanded items from the store, while his friend filmed it on his iPhone.
Police believe the boys intended to upload the footage to YouTube.
Police say staff recognised the gun as a toy and told the boys to leave the store.
Police later arrested the 13-year-old boy at his Warnbro home while the 16-year-old was arrested at the Rockingham Shopping Centre.
The boys have been charged with three counts of being armed in a way that may cause fear. They will appear in Rockingham Children's Court on August 31.
