They have worked in the sex trade for 50 years and slept with 355,000 men between them - but now twin sisters who claim to be Amsterdam's oldest prositututes have decided to retire.
Louise and Martine Fokkens, 70, so they're just too old to sell sex.
Louise says her arthritis now makes some sexual positions "too painful", according to Britain's Sun newspaper.
Martine says she has only one regular customer, an elderly man who enjoys weekly S&M session.
She said: "I couldn’t give him up. He’s been coming to me for so long like it’s like going to church on a Sunday.”
They have featured in a documentary and written a book, The Ladies of Amsterdam.
They turned to prostitution in their teens out of financial necessity and to escape violent relationships, The Sun reported.
They remember the "golden years" of prostitution before it was legalised in the Netherlands and now lament the influx of Eastern European 'mafia'.
Louise said: "It is very different now. We used to sit in the windows with clothes on. Today they are totally naked."Sponsored links
