A Brazilian prisoner's daring escape bid has been foiled - by the size of his stomach.
Rafael Valadao, who weighs in at around 100kg, had everything planned but failed to escape when he became stuck in a hole in a wall because of his size.
Instead of running free, Valadao was left writing in pain and surrounded by laughing guards.
Firefighters were called in to free him.
Four prisoners devised the jail break. Police are hunting for a thinner prisoner who managed to break free.
A police spokesman said: "He was screaming with pain when help arrived. He seemed to have underestimated the size of his stomach."Sponsored links
