UPDATE 9am: Headline-grabbing pop Diva Britney Spears has landed in Perth.
Fans and a throng of media waited for the entertainer to touchdown at Perth Airport.
Her private jet was taxied into a hanger away from onlookers, where she alighted the plane and got into a car.
"Longest flight ever but we had a great time ... So excited to be here," Spears said on Twitter after arriving in Sydney during the early hours.
She avoided the small group of fans who waited for her at Sydney airport, instead boarding a private jet for the flight to Perth.
The star landed at Perth Airport just before 9am.
She kicks off the first of her 15 Circus tours in Perth on Friday night.
Her worldwide Circus tour - with a cast of 44 dancers, magicians, clowns and acrobats - opened in New Orleans in March.
She will perform concerts in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane before finishing in Adelaide on November 29.
