Father felled by king hit

A 50-year-old man is in a stable condition in Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries after he was king hit outside a Kwinana service station last night.

The victim was standing outside BP service station on Chisham Avenue with his daughters when he started arguing with the passenger of nearby car just before 9pm.

The man got out of the car and punched the 50-year-old, causing him to fall back and hit his head on the ground.

He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious head injuries.

It is understood the argument may have started after the passenger of the car made remarks about the man’s daughters.

The attacker fled in a dark-coloured hatchback, which was being driven by another man.

He is described as 180cm tall with a fair complexion, dark mullet-styled hair and a beard.
