A five-year-old child has been found at an illegal drug laboratory in the South West.
A police spokesman said a 54-year-old man was charged after the discovery of the drug laboratory in West Busselton yesterday afternoon.
Detectives, the organised crime squad and ChemCentre staff executed a search warrant at the man's Whitton Street home about 2pm and allegedly found items used to manufacture methamphetamine.
The spokesman said there was a five-year-old child at the house who they believe was at the home while drugs were being produced.
The man has been charged with attempting to manufacture a prohibited drug in circumstances of aggravation and possession of cannabis.
He is due to appear in Bunbury Magistrate's Court today.Sponsored links
