Alleged Beeliar rapist in court

An alleged sex predator has appeared in a Fremantle court accused of repeatedly raping a mother of two in her Beeliar home this month, threatening to kill her children and forcing her to withdraw cash.

Cameron John Graham, 21, had as a string of charges laid against him over the alleged attack that were read out, including allegations that he raped the woman causing her bodily harm, stole property worth thousands and threatened to kill her children.

The woman had been alone with her two children in her home when Mr Graham allegedly attacked the 36-year-old, knowing the children were present.

Police have said that the woman, whose husband had been away for work, was asleep when her attacker forced a window open on home's top floor about 11pm.

Police had said that after the man sexually assaulted the woman, he forced her to drive him in her car to an ATM and withdraw money.

Mr Graham was arrested and charged last night over the attack, which occurred earlier in the month.

Today, the Fremantle Magistrate's Court heard that the accused man had allegedly threatened to kill the woman's two children, who police have said remained asleep during the crime.

Magistrate Robert Lawrence read out the charges against Mr Graham, including multiple counts of aggravated sexual penetration causing bodily harm, indecent dealing, deprivation of liberty and theft of $12,000 of property and $450 with threats of violence.

His defence lawyer sought an adjournment of two weeks and did not apply for bail.
