Excess 0.08 charge after crash into house

A 68-year-old woman has been charged after her car crashed into a Nollamara house early this morning.

No one was injured when the silver Kia Rio crashed through the bedroom window of the Monterey Street home about 2am.

The alleged driver has been charged with driving with a blood alcohol level in excess of 0.08 and careless driving.

Police said the house was deemed structurally safe.
