The 57-year-old man charged over the murder of nurse and security guard Tracey Jane Holloway has appeared in court.
Bradley James Raymond Stinson sat down and held his head with his hands during his brief appearance in the Perth Magistrate's Court this morning, with his lawyer mentioning that the accused murderer was "not well".
Ms Holloway's naked body was found in thick grass on a verge in Maddington on Tuesday about 6.30am.
Police identified the 51-year-old nurse about noon the same day but her identity was not confirmed until that afternoon when officers examined her Maylands apartment.
It is understood the 51-year-old had been in a relationship with Mr Stinson.
Police informed Ms Tucker and Ms Holloway’s brother Bart Holloway, who both live in Albany, of the tragic news on Tuesday.
Ms Holloway's grieving family have described her as a kind gentle woman who would not have hurt a soul but likely to have fought her attacker.
Mr Stinson did not enter a plea today but indicated he understood the charge laid against him.
The court heard he was accused of murdering Ms Holloway in Burswood on the 17th or 18th of December.His case was moved up to the Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court as part of the homicide case list on January 30.
