Perth businessman Tony Sage's West Leederville offices have been raided by the Australian Federal Police today as part of an ongoing national investigation.
It is understood AFP officers served search warrants on both the Perth Glory office and a nearby office that houses Mr Sage’s mining interests, most notably Cape Lambert Resources.
The raids are part of an ongoing investigation between the AFP, the Australian Tax Office, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and the Australian Crime Commission.
In March details of an ATO claim against Cape Lambert over an alleged $96 million tax debt were made public. However, it is unclear whether the two matters are related.
A spokesman for Mr Sage declined to comment and Mr Sage could not be contacted.Sponsored links
