Murder charge after Mirrabooka death

Police have charged a 42-year-old man with murder after the death of a woman in Mirrabooka.

The 61-year-old received fatal injuries during a fight at a house in Melliodora Circle around 2pm on Thursday.

She was taken to Royal Perth Hospital, but died from her injuries early yesterday morning.

The man was taken into custody by police and formally charged yesterday afternoon.
