Man loses tongue in Butler fight

A 29-year-old man lost a large part of his tongue and suffered cuts and bruises in a fight at a Butler home overnight.

The altercation occurred about 1am today, with St John's Ambulance attending the Chorley Avenue address and taking the victim to hospital where he is awaiting surgery.

Two men from the house are assisting police with the investigation.
