Pedestrian dies after hit by car

A 51-year-old man has died after being hit by a car in Balga.

The man was with two friends when it is believed he walked onto the road and was struck by a Ford Falcon sedan on Mirrabooka Avenue near Yirrigan Drive about 8pm.

The was man taken to QEII Hospital where he later died.

The 53-year-old driver of the car was not injured.

Major Crash Investigators would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen the incident.
