Welcoming our newest citizens

East Kimberley residents can celebrate Australia Day as a community this Saturday at public events being held at Wyndham and Kununurra.

Organised by the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley, the events will welcome new Australian citizens and allow people to celebrate being Australian.

A free barbecue breakfast will be provided by the Shire along with live entertainment and a baby tree planting ceremony.

The Australia Day event at Kununurra will be held at Swim Beach on Millington Drive, while the Wyndham event takes place at the Wyndham Shire office on Koolama Street.
