As Christmas approaches, a local charity has appealed for the community’s help to add a little sparkle to meals they distribute to Broome’s children in need.
Aimed at curbing juvenile crime – found to be exacerbated by hunger and boredom – Feed The Little Children delivers meals around town each Saturday.
This festive season, the community has been asked to donate non-perishable food items, such as Christmas puddings or cakes, nuts or sweets, tins or packets of biscuits, tins of fruit or jelly packets.Sponsored links
