Put a little sparkle into kids’ meals

As Christmas approaches, a local charity has appealed for the community’s help to add a little sparkle to meals they distribute to Broome’s children in need.

Aimed at curbing juvenile crime – found to be exacerbated by hunger and boredom – Feed The Little Children delivers meals around town each Saturday.

This festive season, the community has been asked to donate non-perishable food items, such as Christmas puddings or cakes, nuts or sweets, tins or packets of biscuits, tins of fruit or jelly packets.

Items are being collected at the Broome Advertiser office at Dampier House on Dampier Terrace.
