Tired of opponents of the live export industry “hogging the headlines”, Greenough farmer and feedlotter Michael Trant is taking on the anti-live export lobby at its own game.

With a protest against the industry to be held at Fremantle on Sunday, he is planning a rally of supporters for the same day.

Anti-export campaigners plan to form a human chain across Stirling Bridge, so Mr Trant is asking supporters to gather at nearby Merv Cowan Park.
