Toro reacts to doubters

Toro Energy is looking long-term in its fight for WA’s first uranium mine, despite its competition saying any new developments were unlikely in the current market.

Toro is working towards opening WA’s first uranium mine at Wiluna, in the region’s east, and has secured State Government approvals.

Australian uranium producer Paladin Energy last week took a swipe at Toro, as it revealed it was making cost-cutting measures to combat the recent weakening of the uranium spot price.
