Much song and dance to celebrate

Singers keen to get behind the microphone were busy last week attending heats for the 2012 Muster Idol, one of the popular Ord Valley Muster events.

The three-heat event, held at Hotel Kununurra last Monday, Wednesday and Friday, provided a chance for singers to compete for the title of Muster Idol.

There was a long line to get inside the Hotel Kununurra gates where revellers were singing and dancing the night away as 24 singers battled for a place in the top six.

DJ Scott Day, who runs weekly karaoke sessions at the hotel, was MC for the night with sidekick DJ John Piercey.
