A Sydney bus driver has been suspended for telling a woman to get off his bus because her toddler was being too noisy.
State Transit says CCTV footage from the bus had captured the incident involving mum Beth Burton and her 21-month-old daughter Mia.
It also showed the driver told another passenger to get off the bus as well when he tried to intervene.
The bus driver then left the bus for about a minute before returning to resume the route.
State Transit says it has contacted Ms Burton to apologise and is "appalled" at the way she was treated.
"The driver has now been suspended and final action will be determined once a full investigation has been completed," a spokesman said.
Ms Burton told News Corp Australia that five minutes after getting on the bus from picking up Mia from daycare the driver asked where she was getting off.
"I told him on the other side of Bondi Beach and he said if my daughter didn't stop carrying on like that I would have to get off the bus because he couldn't drive."However she admitted Mia had been whingeing and out of sorts, the Daily Telegraph reported.
