A Leeming man has been charged over an armed robbery at a Bull Creek pharmacy.

Police allege the man was armed with a knife when he threatened staff at a pharmacy at Stockland Bull Creek Shopping Centre about 10.30am yesterday.

He allegedly demanded cash and drugs before running from the store, but was arrested on Benningfield Road after a tip-off from the public.

The man is due to appear in the Fremantle Magistrate's Court tomorrow.
