Madonna's manager has poured cold water on a report that the singer was poised to tour Australia this winter.
Music website Undercover reported the 51-year-old queen of pop would perform a series of concerts in Australia, including Perth, in July.
It quoted a touring company insider that a 10-date tour would be marketed as "a gift to Australia" after nearly two decades without performing here. But Madonna's manager Guy Oseary posted on Twitter: "There is no truth to any current plans for an upcoming tour".
Australian promoter Paul Dainty said that he was unaware of any plans for the pop star to tour Down Under.
