Miley Cyrus' shocking Halloween outfit
While her MTV Video Music Awards performance costume has become the Halloween outfit of choice this year, Miley Cyrus is channelling another outrageous pop star.
The 20-year-old has chosen to wear an outfit that pays homage to Lil' Kim.
The Wrecking Ball singer wore a purple wig and outfit complete with a nipple pasty to replicate the rapper's look from the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards.
The outfit, which has seen Lil' Kim land on a number of "worst dressed of all time" lists, made headlines when a bemused Diana Ross touched Lil' Kim's exposed breast out of shock during the 1999 telecast.
"Happy Halllllloweeeen @LilKim ," Cyrus tweeted along with the racy photos.
Earlier this week, Paris Hilton dressed up as Cyrus for a Halloween party at the Playboy Mansion.
Hilton revealed that she'd been inspired by Cyrus' one-piece suit at the MTV's Video Music Awards and shared a picture of her own Halloween costume on Instagram.

"Like my Miley costume? #Halloween," Hilton wrote.
Cyrus, 20, donned the infamous outfit for her collaboration with Robin Thicke at the August event.
Someone who isn't interested in being Cyrus for Halloween is her ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth's new girlfriend Eiza Gonzalez.

The 23-year-old Mexican actress, who was spotted kissing Hemsworth outside her Beverly Hills home after news of his split from Cyrus broke, paused in front of a window display of Halloween costumes while out shopping in West Hollywood.Gonzalez was photographed pointing and appearing to mock the flesh-coloured bra and underwear set being sold as a replica of Cyrus' now infamous VMA performance outfit at Romantix Adult Store on Melrose Avenue.
