'Yeah, nah,' the sh*t people say

There are some things only Perth people understand.

Things like too many sharks, not enough taxis and a mate who's thinking about working fly-in fly-out from Bali.

And then there's the expression "yeah, nah".

In the style of the YouTube sensation Sh*t Girls Say, a new video has launched called Sh*t Perth People Say.

The video has already been viewed over 80,000 times since it was launched yesterday morning, taking a light hearted dig at Perth's bad drivers, public transport, expensive food prices and "weird" bell tower and convention centre.

This is the garbage that you think passes for news? Surely something else happened in Perth today that you could report on.

Let's hope they keep saying and believing this stuff about Perth, because then that might keep them all living in the Eastern States and we can have our own peaceful city left alone. We don't need it to be dolled up like a harlot. Just look at Sydney, Melbourne and the other cities. They are full of crime and are too dangerous for anyone. I wish Perth had less people and less night entertainment, so that we could get the families back into the city. Shut the clubs and pubs by 10.00 pm and lock up all the scumbags who threaten everyone. Go home you whinging Victorians and leave Perth as it is. We are happy with or City!

The sad thing is I have heard people in Perth say most of those things!

Oh please people! Lighten up and get a sense of bloody humor! I'm from WA and I think it's funny! No one from Perth can honestly say they've not heard any of this before, and if you say no, well get your head out of the sand!
