A 20-year-old Inglewood woman has been charged with careless driving after she crashed into a city restaurant earlier this month, injuring four people.
Police allege the P-plate driver on July 7 ran a red light at the intersection of Hay and Milligan Streets in Perth, before she hit a CAT bus and careered into the glass walls of the Matsuri restaurant.
Witnesses said it was lucky no one was killed as a result of the crash, which sent diners near the wall flying and caused traffic chaos.
Dramatic security video inside the restaurant showed a nine-year-old girl thrown from her chair and a man trapped under the front of the car.
The woman is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on August 26.Sponsored links
