Triathlon to close major city roads

Several major city roads will be closed on Sunday to allow athletes to compete in the WA Olympic Distance Triathlon Championships.

Triathletes will race the 1.5km swim, 40km cycle and run 10km from Langley Park, along Riverside Drive and on to Mounts Bay Road from 7.30am until 11.145am.

Mounts Bay Road will be closed from William Street to Hackett Street in both directions from 4am until about noon.

Riverside drive will be closed eastbound from Mounts Bay Road to William Street and both directions from the Causeway to William Street for the same period.

Diversionary routes will be available.
