A person died this morning when their car hit a tree near Wongan Hills, about 180km north east of Perth.
The RAC rescue helicopter was sent to the crash, about 18km south of Wongan Hills, after reports of one person being trapped.
The helicopter was recalled after it was confirmed the person had died.
