UPDATE 8am: Traffic on the Mitchell Freeway Southbound is very slow between Ocean Reef Road and Whitfords Avenue and again from Reid Highway where it slows through to Scarborough Beach Road.
The Kwinana Freeway northbound is congested between the Mount Henry Bridge and South Terrace.
Other busy spots include Roe Highway and Orrong Road in Welshpool, Great Eastern Highway (around the domestic airport) in Redcliffe, Thomas Street into the city and Loftus Street into the city.
