Flights at Perth Airport were delayed for 40 minutes this morning after a suspicious package forced the evacuation of the domestic terminal.
A Qantas spokeswoman said the carry bag was discovered at a check-in counter about 5am.
She said Australian Federal Police and firefighters from the Fire and Rescue Service attended.
Passengers waiting to check in for six flights, due to depart to WA's north and the Eastern states were evacuated for 15 minutes.
The spokeswoman said the bag was scanned and declared safe.Sponsored links
