Police probe suspicious house fires
Police are investigating two suspicious house fires in Perth’s southern suburbs early this morning.
At about 1am, a person spotted flames coming from a roof in Armadale and raised the alarm.
It took 12 firefighters from Armadale, Maddington and Murdoch one hour to bring the fire under control.
The fire destroyed the house.
At 3am emergency services were called to a fire at a house on Kenwick Road in Kenwick.
The fire caused $150,000 damage.
Firefighters from Welshpool, Canning Vale and Maddington took about 90 minutes to bring the fire under control.
No-one was inside either house.
