Former Falcon killed in car accident
West Perth is mourning the death of former player Michael Mascoulis in a car accident yesterday.
Mascoulis died near his home in country Victoria.
The 20-year-old was also on West Coast's AFL rookie list after being recruited from Northern Knights in 2012.
Mascoulis was allotted to the Falcons under the Eagles player service agreement and stayed with the WAFL club last season after he was delisted.
He played four league matches for West Perth and was a member of the club's reserves grand final team in September.
"Michael was a larger than life character and loved the West Perth Football Club, and by everyone at the club and we wish our sincerest condolences to his family at this terrible time," said West Perth management on the Falcons' Facebook page.
