Two brothers, both aged 12, have pleaded guilty in the Geraldton Children’s Court to stealing several vehicles and driving without a licence.
Most of the offences occurred in Meekatharra on October 16 after the boys broke into the premises of Macro Drill and stole a LandCruiser, an Isuzu truck and a caravan, and damaged a trailer and a gate.
This followed their stealing of a Holden utility from the Burringurrah community on October 9.
The boys also pleaded guilty to breaking into Clark Rubber in Geraldton on October 19 and stealing three tins of glue.
Magistrate Robert Young ordered them into a court conferencing process in which they would be shown the dangers of sniffing glue, and given the opportunity to apologise to the victims and to take part in other programs.The boys will come back for sentencing on January 7 next year.
