A carpet python was seized during a raid on a Donnybrook property which allegedly netted drugs and a set of knuckledusters.
Police will allege they found the unlicensed carpet python in an aquarium while executing a search warrant at a Union Street home.
The Department of Parks and Wildlife has taken possession of the snake and is investigating.
A police spokeswoman said officers also found about three grams of suspected cannabis, two grams of suspected amphetamines, two smoking implements, three sets of scales and a set of knuckledusters.
