Thieves targeting two rural properties have stolen cable and equipment valued at more than $600,000.
The thefts occurred in Picton and Dardanup.
Early on September 1, thieves targeted a disused abattoir on Crooked Brook Road, Dardanup, stealing fixtures including copper piping, copper wiring and refrigerator gas valued at about $500,000.
In a similar incident, an unused workshop on Sutherland Way in Picton was also targeted by thieves sometime between 25 June and 25 September.
Electrical cable and equipment valued at more than $100,00 was stolen.Police believe these incidents are linked and are asking anyone with information to contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
