A 30-year-old Kardinya man was allegedly caught drink driving twice in the same area by the same police officers last night.
A police spokeswoman said officers were patrolling on Alday Street in East Victoria Park when they saw a Holden Commodore swerving across the road.
The driver was taken to Kensington police station where he allegedly recorded a positive blood alcohol reading.
He was then released to be summonsed for excess 0.08 and driving an unlicensed vehicle.
Some time later, the officers were patrolling the same area when they allegedly spotted the Holden Commodore again.
The 30-year-old was taken back to Kensington police station and charged with excess 0.02, no authority to drive and driving an unlicensed vehicle.
His car was impounded.The man is due to appear at Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday, October 3.
