Police have released the name of a 31-year-old man who died in a suspected homicide in Albany on Saturday and are looking for a car in relation to his death.
Police today named the man whose body was found in bushland as Albany local Mark Colbung.
Mr Colbung's body was found by a member of the public who was walking in bushland at the end of Barnesby Road near Butts Road in the suburb on Yakamia at about 8am.
Detectives are trying to find the blue Toyota Corolla seca hatchback with the registration 9DK 080 in relation to the incident and want to speak to anyone who was near Barnesby Drive between 10pm and midnight last Friday.
Before his name was released by police, Mark Colbung's family paid tribute to him online and said he had children of his own.
"He was a much loved son, grandson, big brother, nephew and uncle," one family member wrote on Facebook.
