A 44-year-old worker has died at a cement plan in Cockburn.
Police and WorkSafe are investigating the death of the man who is believed to have died at the BGC plant.
There were early reports the man was crushed by a scissor lift while tightening bolts on machinery. However, the Department of Commerce said the man was understood to have died in a fall.
Emergency services were called to the Naval Base business about 12.30pm.
The death is the second at the Beard Street site in 11 months. In October, a man died after being buried alive in a sand silo.A man also died at a BGC plant in Hazelmere in April after he is understood to have become caught in machinery.
