Airline adds more flights for big game
In response to overwhelming demand, Tigerair yesterday added another Perth to Melbourne flight for Dockers fans for grand final weekend.
The flight will leave Perth at 9.10am on Thursday, September 26, and arrives in Melbourne at 2.40pm. One-way fares start at $409.
Tigerair Australia commercial director Carly Brear said there had been a surge in demand from Fremantle supporters after the team's win over Geelong at the weekend.
As of yesterday, the cheapest flights available through Tigerair were $719.95 one-way departing on September 26, or Friday, September 27.
The airline also has a $669.95 fare for a 1.05am Saturday morning departure.
