Grylls' Pilbara donor identified

Regional Development Minister Brendon Grylls has had to correct the record of his financial activities during the election campaign after failing to reveal a donor's identity.

Official returns of donations received and spending by candidates, political parties and lobby groups were made public by the WA Electoral Commission yesterday.

All donations to candidates of more than $2100 must be disclosed. Mr Grylls' return declared a donation of $2217.60, but not from whom.

After inquiries from _The West Australian, _the form was amended to reveal it came from Jan Ford Real Estate in Port Hedland.

The Electoral Commission accepted it was an unintentional error.
