Fashion Fest launches blow-up bar

Perth Fashion Festival has come up with an exciting new pre-show destination for this year's event.

After years using The Court Hotel, PFF has now decided to create its own pre-show VIP Peroni Aperitivo Bar and a smaller version, Peroni Prive, which will be metres from the catwalks at Fashion Paramount in the grounds of the WA Museum.

The two spaces will be inflatable structures providing a unique setting for VIP show-goers to celebrate and network before taking in the runway shows at this year's PFF, which takes place from September 11 to 16.

One Fell Swoop designers Nikolina Ergic and Daniel Romanin will be collaborating with leading Perth artist Tane Andrews within the distinctive space to present their highly anticipated autumn/winter 2014 collection at a bespoke event One Fell Swoop Peroni Prive. With theatrical and ambient lighting creating an engaging atmosphere, guests will have the opportunity to experience something truly amazing.

"Tane's techniques of growing crystals, laser cutting materials and fine ink rendered drawings, accompanied with our signatures of elegant draping, clean lines and a sensitive handling of dyeing and printing, will create a fashion installation unseen before in WA," Romanin said.

The full details of what is in store for this year's PFF, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary, will be unveiled at the launch of its 2013 program on August 6.
