While in Perth, fly a Tiger Moth.
It can be your once in a lifetime Biggles moment - soaring over Perth in the open cockpit of a 1939 de Havilland Tiger Moth
You will look the part, donning your goggles and the old-fashioned leather hat, sitting in the front seat of the plane and flying about 4000 feet above Perth, Fremantle and Cottesloe.
And, if you have the fortitude and a few extra dollars, you can try some aerobatics, including barrel rolls and 360-degree loops - sick bag also provided.
Aero Club of WA operations manager Rick Ennis said the flights appealed to a wide range of people.
"Some like the idea of flying around with the wind in their hair in an open cockpit," he said. "Other, older people can remember the Tiger Moth and want to take a flight for nostalgic reasons."
The aero club has four experienced pilots and two Tiger Moths.Flights cost $261 for 30 minutes with no acrobatics, $371 for 45 minutes and acrobatics and $471 for an hour with acrobatics. For bookings and information call 9417 000.
