Man killed in 4WD rollover

A 39-year-old man has died after a crash in Halls Creek yesterday afternoon.

It is understood that the Halls Creek man was travelling on Duncan Road with a 49-year-old male passenger at around 4pm, when their Toyota 4WD lost control and rolled a number of times.

The driver died at the scene and the passenger, who is from Kalkaringi in the Northern Territory, was taken to Halls Creek to be treated for serious injuries.

Police will be investigating the cause of the crash.
