Thieves use knife in deli hold-up

Police are looking for two men who used a knife to rob an East Victoria Park deli.

Detectives are calling for the public’s help to identify two men who held-up a deli in East Victoria Park earlier this month.

Just before 11.30pm on Wednesday, March 6, a man armed with a knife entered the We Never Sleep deli on Albany Highway.

He threatened the male staff member and demanded cash, while his accomplice stayed near the front door.

The thieves then fled on foot towards Kent Street with an amount of cash.

Police described the man brandishing a knife as 20 to 30 years old and 185cm tall with a slim to medium build.

The second man was described as olive-skinned, 20 to 30 years old and 185cm tall with a slim to medium build.

Anyone who has information about the incident or can help identify either offender is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
