Perth train commuters once again experienced delays today, with separate technical issues holding up services on the Armadale and Joondalup lines.
About 12.45pm, a signal failure near Stirling station caused delays for commuters between Joondalup and Mandurah.
Trains were forced to travel at a slower pace as they were radioed through to the station.
A Transperth spokeswoman said it was unclear if the problem was related to a spate of traffic signal failures near Stirling station.
The signal failure on the Joondalup line was rectified about 1.40pm and services started returning to schedule.
Meanwhile, about 12.45pm on the Armadale-Fremantle line, a point which allows trains to be diverted to Thornlie became stuck.
One train was stationary for about 15 minutes while a worker manually cranked the point.
Transperth is investigating the malfunction.Sponsored links
