The fog blanketing parts of Perth this morning has forced Perth Airport to switch to low-visibility operations on one runway.
A Bureau of Meteorology spokesman said the fog, which was caused by cool temperatures and a high dew point, was spread throughout the metropolitan area.
The dew point this morning was 18.3C, with a minimum of 18.8C recorded at 6:12am.
The fog was expected to hang around until about 9am, before Perth started its climb towards a maximum of 29C.
An airport spokeswoman while there was fog around the airport, authorities did not anticipate any flight delays at this point.Sponsored links
